What are nicotine shots?

Nicotine shots (or "nic shots" as we like to call them) are intended for use with "short fill" e-liquids.

Short fill eliquids contain a certain amount of (zero nicotine) liquid as well as a bit of extra space for a nic shot or two.

The nic shots are generally a high strength, which when diluted into a short fill bottle will result in a lower strength, high VG eliquid for use in sub-ohm devices.

For example:

50ml short fill liquids come in a 60ml size bottle (10ml empty space).

Add 1 x 18mg nic shot and shake the bottle thoroughly

Resulting strength is 3mg

What are nicotine SALTS?

Nicotine salts are a new innovation for the vaper who likes a solid nicotine "hit" but without the harshness on the throat. Nicotine salts absorb into the body more quickly (they're more "bioavailable") but the overall vaping experience is much smoother, so if the higher strength liquids hurt your throat or make you cough, but the lower strengths aren't satisfying your needs, then nicotine salts could be your way forward! The strength on our nic salts products may look a little confusing, so let us explain! For example, our nic salt shot contains 36mg/ml or nicotine salts, which is chemically equivalent to 20mg/ml of "normal" nicotine, but as explained above will be absorbed more quickly into the bloodstream.

Which one should I choose?

We currently stock 4 different varieties, so have read on and discover your perfect choice!

18mg, 100% VG (Black Box)

Use 1 bottle with 50ml, or 2 with 100ml for a final strength of 3mg/ml.

As these use a 100% VG base, they'll also slightly enhance the thickness of the vapour produced.

15mg, 70% VG (Light Blue Box)

Use 1 bottle with 50ml, or 2 with 100ml for a final strength of 2.5mg/ml.

Great for if you're using a 70% VG eliquid and want to keep the overall consistency the same, or a higher VG eliquid that is just a little too thick for you.

18mg, 70% VG (Dark Blue Box)

Use 1 bottle with 50ml, or 2 with 100ml for a final strength of 3mg/ml.

The best of both worlds!

36mg Nic Salts, 50% VG (Green & White Box)

Use 1 bottle with 50ml, or 2 with 100ml for a final strength of 6mg/ml nic salts.
